Call Me Pretty Vitamins
As we get older we need to take a good multivitamin. We don't get the vitamins and nutrients from our food anymore like we used to. So with that in mind, we need to take a vitamin that will help replace what we don't receive from our food. Also, with a very good vitamin and a proper diet, we can even strengthen our immune system and thereby avoid a lot of colds and flus. Many vitamins don't absorb into our systems, therefore many are just being flushed away. I recently started taking a vitamin from Nutrilite called Double X. Unlike other leading multivitamins, a single serving of DOUBLE X is what you need your vitamin to be – 12 essential vitamins, 10 essential minerals and 20 plant concentrates, giving you the antioxidant power of tomato, blueberry, broccoli, cranberry, pomegranate and more. The B vitamins found in the NUTRILITE DOUBLE X Multivitamin unlock the energy in your food, and DOUBLE X contains more B6 and B12 vitamins than Centrum® Performance and One-a-Day Active® combined! In a clinical study, NUTRILITE DOUBLE X was shown to improve blood nutrient levels to provide your cells with the energy they need to support a healthy heart, brain, eyes, skin, bones and immune system. Wow! These vitamins have made a tremendous difference my health and in the way I feel.

Before I started taking Double X, I was using a product called Women's Complete by Andrew Lessman. I would buy them from the Home Shopping Network (www.hsn.com). There are three different varieties. I chose to take the one in the middle vitamin range. This is a great vitamin as well, but I am always looking for the best product for my health. I began to notice that I was still a bit sluggish, so once I made the switch to Nutrilite, I feel that my energy level has greatly increased!

I have found another great product called "The Greens" by It Works. It contains 38 herbs that are nutrient-rich. It also helps to alkaline your body and gives you a ton of energy. Also ladies, you have to take a calcium supplement. Always consult with your Dr., but I have been advised to take 1200 mg per day. My Dr. also recommended that I take Caltrate + D Plus Minerals. You need to make sure that you take care of your bones as well.

To help keep my body hormonally balanced I have chosen not to take pharmaceutical hormonal replacement products and decided to go the natural way instead. I am currently taking a Nutrilite supplement called Black Cohosh and Soy. Since I made the switch, my hormones are once again back in control and for now, this product is really working for me. Before this, I was using Estrotone by New Chapter and Soy Isoflavens by Nature's Way and they worked great for a while. I began to notice that these two products were not working as well, as if the magic had just wornoff and my body was raging out of control again with hot flashes, etc. Again, please, please consult your physician first before taking any type of product.
